Special Twist

Special Twist/GA Allstar Dance and Cheer

1.      Purpose:

1.1   It shall be the purpose of the Special Twist/GA Allstars to promote and uphold team spirit for those we encounter, to develop good sportsmanship by example, to support good relations in the community and between teams and squads during events.

Our Commitment to each participant:

*We will provide each participant with the opportunity to strive through challenges both physically and mentally.

*We will promote team building.

*We will work on a team and individual basis to learn required skills.

*We will take the initiative to expand the horizons of each individual participant.

*We will provide a safe and exciting environment for the success of our team.

*We will invite them into our family.

*Most importantly, We will have FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2.      Eligibility:

2.1   An athlete may be male or femaleand a minimum age of 4 years with no age limit.

2.2   Acceptance of an athlete shall be on the basis of desire to participate on a special needs team, the coaches agreement, acceptance of the squad rules, and without prejudice of disability.

2.3   There are no physical or mental abilities that will exclude you from participation on Special Twist/GA Allstar.

2.4   Participation on Special Twist/GA Allstar is at the discretion of the coaching staff.

3.      Membership

3.1   Special Twist/GA Allstars is a co-ed squad. The regular squad will consist of a maximum of 50 cheerleaders.  Additional members may be admitted and allowed to join at the discretion of the coaching staff.

3.2   The entire regular squad will cheer and participate at all competitions, promotions, fundraisers, community and charity events.

3.3    Membership on Special Twist/GA Allstars includes membership affiliation with and GA Allstars.
